1956-

Tog examen vid Lewis & Clark College år 1979. Under studierna ansvarade han för satirteckningarna i studenttidningen The Pioneer Log som kom ut varje vecka.
Han är en av grundarna och satirtecknare för tidskriften Politico. År 2012 vann han Pulitzerpriset för satirteckning.
Har givit ut två album med teckningar. Standing Tall in Deep Doo Doo, A Cartoon Chronicle of the Bush Quayle Years (Thunders Mouth Press, 1991) och Meanwhile in Other News... A Graphic Look at Politics in the Empire of Money, Sex and Scandal (Common Courage Press, 1998).
